(MONTGOMERY)–Attorney General Luther Strange announced the arrest

was the office manager for Overhead Door and Fireplace, Inc. in Millbrook. Eller was
arrested by deputies of the Elmore County Sheriff’ Office and taken to the Elmore
County Jail where she was being held on a $25,000 bond.
Attorney General Strange’s Office presented evidence to an Elmore County
grand jury resulting in Eller’s indictment* on April 13. Specifically, the indictment
charges Eller with the following crimes:
One count of first-degree theft of property of checks and/or currency valued at
more than $2,500 from the Overhead Door and Fireplace Inc.;
One count of first-degree theft by deception of checks and/or currency valued at
more than $2,500 from the Overhead Door and Fireplace Inc.; and
Three counts of second-degree forgery of checks from the company.

No further information about the investigation or about Eller’s alleged crimes
other than that stated in the indictment may be released at this time.
If convicted, Eller faces a maximum penalty of two to 20 years of imprisonment
for each count of first-degree theft, which is a class B felony; and one to ten years for
each count of second-degree forgery, which is a class C felony.

Attorney General Strange commended those involved in the investigation and
prosecution of this case, noting in particular Assistant Attorney General Stephanie
Billingslea of the Criminal Trials Division and Special Agents of the Attorney General’s
Investigations Division.
