AG STRANGE, STATE BAR PRESIDENT COPELAND REMIND THAT
ALABAMA LEGAL FOOD FRENZY FOR FOOD BANKS BEGINS MONDAY
(MONTGOMERY) – Attorney General Luther Strange and Alabama State Bar
President Lee H. Copeland are reminding lawyers that the Alabama Food Frenzy
begins on Monday, April 25 and lasts through May 6. The Legal Food Frenzy is a
competition this spring among law firms to benefit food banks throughout the state.
The Attorney General has joined with the Alabama State Bar and the Alabama
Food Bank Association to sponsor this important event. The law firm or legal
organization that collects the most pounds of food per employee will receive The
Attorney General’s Cup, with other honors to be awarded in categories based upon the
firm’s size. Food will be weighed in at food banks and monetary donations will be
counted as four pounds of food for each dollar.
