Attorney General Steve Marshall Statement on National Law
Enforcement Appreciation Day
(MONTGOMERY) – Attorney General Steve Marshall released the following statement
in support of Alabama law enforcement personnel as America celebrates National Law
Enforcement Appreciation Day.
“Those who answer the call to serve and protect do it not for the money or the prestige-
there isn’t enough of either to repay them for their commitment to keeping the peace.
They put on a badge each day because they love their community and want to keep it
safe. Let us always remember the sacrifice of our law enforcement officers who form the
thin blue line separating the public from anarchy. I encourage everyone to thank their
local law enforcement officer for their service.
